Umuajameze Solar Water Pump Project

"Access to safe water is a fundamental human need and, therefore, a basic human right." — Kofi Annan

The Umuajameze Solar Water Pump Project aims to provide a reliable and sustainable water supply for the residents of Umuajameze in Abia State. The project will replace the current fuel-powered generator with a solar-powered pump system, reducing reliance on both the national power grid and costly, scarce fuel sources. This new system will provide consistent access to clean water, improving daily life and supporting health, hygiene, and economic stability within the community.

By implementing renewable solar energy, the project promotes environmental sustainability and resilience, empowering Umuajameze with independent access to water essential for their well-being and development.
